Structural Steel Design Awards 2018
We’re excited to announce that the Structural Steel Design Awards 2018 will take place in London on 3rd October and representatives from the Joseph Ash Group will be there.
The Awards will be extra special this year, as it’s the 50th anniversary of the event!
The Awards received many submissions, which have been shortlisted to 22 projects, showcasing the flexibility and versatility of steel in a number of different and varying applications. The projects also represent a wide geographical spread.
The shortlist includes:

Brooklands Museum Aircraft Factory and Racetrack Revival, Weybridge
Victoria Palace Theatre Refurbishment, London
Walthamstow Wetlands, Forest Road, London
Extension to Belfast Waterfront, Lanyon Place, Belfast
The Beacon of Light, Sunderland
V&A’s Exhibition Road Quarter, London
The Ordsall Chord Viaduct, Salford and Manchester
The winners will be announced at the prestigious event – to be held at Banqueting House, Whitehall – jointly sponsored by BCSA and Trimble Solutions (UK) Ltd.
